NVAO sign Letter of Intent with Chinese CEAIE

NVAO has made agreements in the field of international cooperation with the Chinese Education Association for international Education (CEAIE) in Beijing. In order to confirm the cooperation between NVAO and CEAIE a Letter of Intent was signed by the two parties.

CEAIE is mainly involved in student mobility and signed a cooperation agreement with the Netherlands Organization for International Cooperation in Higher Education (Nuffic) to establish a Netherlands Education Support Office (NESO) in Beijing, which opened on 15 October 2010. CEAIE also is developing initiatives within the field of quality assurance. Because of this they communicated their intentions for cooperation towards the British Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) and NVAO.

During the conference in Beijing from 14 to 17 October 2010 NVAO's board member Leendert Klaassen presented the recent trends and experiences of NVAO and the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) regarding international cooperation in the QA sector.
