Guide to Formulating Degree Programme Profiles

Over the last two years NVAO has cooperated with a group of NARICs and TUNING partners to produce a guide that offers clear guidance for formulating degree profiles. This includes defining key programme competences and writing good learning outcomes at the level of the programme. We consider this guide an innovative tool to assist in implementing an essential element of the Bologna Process. It is intended for all those involved in the design, delivery and assessment of higher education programmes and includes a template for preparing a degree profile.
